1. Continue fight in an effort to gain through our local legislators, proper funding from the State of New Jersey with regard to CMPTRA/PILOT Aid as result of being a host community having two State prison facilities, through legislation as pending, specifically S880 and A1930 to achieve this much needed funding. Both bills are currently in S880 appropriation of both legislative houses as of 09/03/03.

2. Formally dedicate the Senior Center expansion and ADA upgrades at the new Municipal Hall in Leesburg. Completed 12/04/02.

3. Enhance our recreational facilities for Township youth through the acquisition of the old Leechester Hall. Completed 10/02.

4. Construction of a Waterfront Development Area at the Mauricetown Bridge, similar to the one in Millville at Fowser Road, with floatation dock, picnic tables and observation tower being installed. Plan approved pending DEP permit's for construction.

5. Completion of major road improvements on East Point Road, and Hunters Mill Road are being proposed, and construction to begin 10/03. Completed.

6. Expansion of the current observation tower at Thompson's Beach to have extended down the old roadway to the Delaware Bay area. Still under consideration, pending grant money and any DEP approvals.

7. Pedestrian and bicycle path on the old dike berm from Menhaden - River Road to Matt's Landing is being considered. Just awarded $100,000 grant to commerce construction 09/03.

8. Development of an All Terrain Vehicle Park Track area on lands located on Weatherby Road, approximately 1,500 acres, and is pending support from the Pinelamds Commission and DEP.
